Profile of Carol Jefkins MA MSc C.Psychol

I am a Chartered Psychologist with nearly 20 years’ experience in assessment and development consultancy.

I started my career with SHL, a leading firm of occupational psychologists. SHL gave me a great professional grounding and built my experience of designing client solutions, managing projects and working internationally.

I then worked as an internal consultant at One2One (now T-Mobile) redesigning the organisational competency framework, improving selection and performance management in the call centres and designing development centres for technical professionals. I loved the opportunity this gave me to see projects from the client’s perspective and be part of a business going through significant culture change.

Since 2001 I’ve operated as an independent consultant through my own company, Aspect Business Psychology. Being independent allows me the flexibility to work closely with my clients to develop truly tailored solutions without being tied to particular products or methodologies.

What I value most about my work is the opportunity to be creative, adapting approaches or designing new ones to meet specific needs. I have a particular interest in using psychology to help individuals understand their strengths and fulfil their potential.

I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Registered Psychologist with the Health Professions Council, and a Principal Member of the Association of Business Psychologists.

I hold Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing Levels A and B, and am a registered user of numerous tests and questionnaires including the OPQ, SHL Motivation Questionnaire, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), 16PF, FIRO Element B, Saville Consulting WAVE, the Hogan Development Survey (HDS), and Lominger Voices 360 questionnaire. I have completed a Certificate in Coaching and am currently working towards my CIPD Certificate in Human Resources Development.

What our clients are saying

What is Business Psychology?

Business Psychologists (sometimes known as Occupational or Organisational Psychologists) apply psychological principles and research to the workplace, providing insights into people's behaviour. We work with individuals, teams and organisations to identify and develop talent, enhance behaviour, skills and motivation, and improve performance. Business Psychologists are highly qualified professionals and "Occupational Psychologist" is a protected title regulated by the Health Professions Council (HPC).
